ARTIST BIOGRAPHY:
Behzad Tabar is an artist of diverse and inimitable talents. Skilled in a variety of mediums, he creates distinctive drawings and paintings that defy most existing classifications.
Behzad is a self-taught artist that has been drawing since early childhood. After developing an interest in graphic, computer-generated arts, he earned a degree in 1998 in computer animation from the Art Institute of Atlanta.
Though he explores many techniques and artistic themes, Behzad’s work consistently reflects intensity and a contemplative focus. He is particularly adept at capturing the beauty of the human form and expressing its complexity through the tension of light and shadow. His work has been valued for the past fifteen years through commissions by private collectors.
